<3
<3 Lowe's Sad Plant Rack. While my garden is still in desperate need of attention, I now have some pretty and cheap flowers to add to its overgrown, daisy-studded chaos.

~~
George R.R. Martin is not your bitch.
<3 Neil Gaiman. I wanna be Neil when if I grow up.

~~

<3 the weather people being incompetent. They called a giant terrible storm for today. It's nice and bright and sunny--I think I'll go get a sunburn. (And after that ten minute venture, I'll sit on the porch and play with tribal necklaces.)

~~

<3 cutting the Fire Mountain order down to $205, and the The Ring Lord one down to $320. Five hundred in expenditures is to be whined at--six hundred is a bit much.

~~

<3 whiting fillets, dipped in egg & salted bisquick, then deep-fried and nommed on wheat thin buns--sometimes with a bit of Caesar dressing for added flavor. I keep making more, intending to share them with [info]zen_of_nihilism--and then I keep eating them. :D

World is happy. :D

Also, I am never allowed to go this long without weeding my garden again. But Mr. Kitchen-bunny definitely <3'd this dandelion leaf.

You didn't notice because I just took it this afternoon, when I went in after all those awful spiky things with scissors. :P

That was the biggest leaf off of it, and measured in at just under 21". The others were a much more "moderate" 12", 15", so on. It hadn't gotten a chance to bloom yet.

Oh, damn. XD I was hoping to see a dandelion that came right out of World 4 of Super Mario Bros. 3. (Just to prove my old-school geek card.)

I don't think I got the root, so I'll keep an eye out. (And sharpen the machetes, just in case.)

Okay, you can be Neil Gaiman, I'll be Alan Moore.
The man's huge success and talent, coupled with intense creepiness make him a great role model. Plus he's publicly disdainful of organized religion and has this great quote "Yes, there is a conspiracy, in fact there are a great number of conspiracies that are all tripping each other up. And all of those conspiracies are run by paranoid fantasists and ham-fisted clowns. If you are on a list targeted by the CIA, you really have nothing to worry about. If however, you have a name similar to somebody on a list targeted by the CIA, then you are dead."

<3 Alan Moore. Such a scary, crazy man.

Have you seen the latest Something Positive featuring him?

No, no I hadn't. I like the snake with green hair. Following something like a hundred webcomics (literally, not comically exaggerating) means I tend to let some of them pile up and then pour through the archives.
