Today I accomplished a belt, five anklets, three pairs of coppery loop earrings, a pile of balls, and a few too many strange deviantart submission titles. I also realized that this is officially my second full-time job.

And to think, I always wonder why I can't seem get any writing done. Though I'm trying. A few lines here and there is better than nothing.

Tomorrow I make cowrie falls, dice bags, and a billion metal flowers.

Well, if it's full time, I hope it's profitable/enjoyable enough for that.
Good luck selling it all.

Profitable, enjoyable, and all that fun stuff. Plus setting my own hours = win. It means I can work overnight and sleep during the day--which is a much more natural schedule for me than daylight.

Sounds nice. I always try to work swing shift or graveyard if I can help it, myself. But now you've tempted me to learn a craft, curse you!
Of course, the problem with setting my own hours is my tendency to set them to zero.

Thing is, while I'm easily distracted I'm also incapable of going without making something for any period of time without getting a bit batty. I write or I craft; I've been doing both for as long as I can remember. This would give me the time and space to do both and make a profit at it. That'd be staggeringly amazing.

Ah, like my tendency to write story fragments (but never tie them together), the occasional poem, some sketches, and to create reams upon reams of characters, complete with detailed backgrounds for every remotely interesting RPG I find even though I explicitly plan not to even try to play in those games, much less those characters.

Well, I usually finish things. Sometimes it takes me a while, but I hate leaving them sit.

I would but the problem is I think of fifty billion other things before I finish the first unless the first is fairly short. Then I start some of them and forget where I was going on the older ones. I'm so fast I can't even keep up with myself.

I find it relaxing to not have to multi-task. :P

The real irony, of course, being I start the new ideas partially because I'm afraid they'll be forgotten if I don't but I'm still forgetting things, often parts of the new ones when newer new ideas arrive.
