WHAT IS THIS--Oh, wait.
I love the local grocery store. If it wasn't for them and a healthy sense of adventure, I can't say I ever would've tried out fun things like apple soda, spreadable brie, California rolls ("Avocado?" I said. "Never. That shit's green."), or the oh-so-unhealthy donut-type goodness that is paczki. The store doesn't have the traditional rose hip marmalade filling, of course--not that I'd expect it from a large chain--but the other options are definitely doable. Well, mostly. There's a good reason prune-filled jelly donuts haven't become wildly popular with the masses.
But anyway!
If I hadn't wandered in looking for my paczki fix before Fat Tuesday was over (and the unofficial awesome giant fish sandwich season starts), I never would've found this.
